Marino Bubba is a writer and high school English literature teacher living in Harlem, New York. Bubba studied creative writing at Columbia University, where he was awarded the Surgam Award for literary merit. He was also honored as the Best of Fiction in Sunspot Lit’s 2025 “Geminga” contest and was shortlisted for the 2023 Plaza International Flash Fiction Prize. His stories have appeared in Empyrean, Dveight, and 4x4 Literary Magazine, among others. He also wrote a musical about aliens.
